About Us
If you’d like your dog to love his holidays as much as you do, then you’ve come to the right place.
We are a small, exclusively family-run boarding ‘space’ for your family friend in the beautiful, rolling hills of Killinkere, Virginia.
Just an hour outside Dublin we provide a relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere for your beloved dog. We live alongside our guests so we can keep a close eye on them to ensure they are settled and happy at all times.
Our aim is to provide your family friend with all the comforts of home whilst you’re away. We know you’ll be happier knowing your dog is staying with us in our home, enjoying walks in the surrounding countryside, being part of our family and curling up relaxed at the close of day.
Some dogs find large scale boarding kennels intimidating and can find it hard to settle. We only ever have six to eight dogs staying with us at any one time.
This allows us give each and every dog the love, care and attention they need. We provide an exclusive home from home environment so you can relax in the knowledge that your family friend is also enjoying his holiday.
Our home is an old farmhouse on five acres that we share with our own three dogs and three horses. We have large, secure garden spaces for your pet to relax after their walks.
The local countryside enchants with it’s winding lanes, mirror-still lakes and beautiful, green hills to explore.

We love to send you photos and short videos so you can see that they are happy and enjoying their holidays.
Where your dog will stay
Rates
We offer nightly, weekly, monthly and long-stay rates.
Our rate is just €25 per dog per day.
We offer special rates for two or more dogs.
Feed / Bedding / Any Special Needs
Please feel free to bring your dog’s usual feed and we will ensure that they are fed at the times they would be fed at home, and in the same quantities. This ensures continuity and is just another small way to help your pet settle.
Our own dogs are fed a dry dog feed with a wet dog feed mixer so, if that suits your own pet, then we can provide all they need.
We’re very happy to have your dog bring any special comfort items they love. This could be favourite toys, blankets or bedding.
If your dog has any special needs, just contact us to discuss their requirements and care.
There is no extra charge for administering medication.
The Boring but Important Stuff
Please let us have up-to-date vaccinations before they arrive for their holiday and ensure their kennel cough vaccine is also up-to-date.
As you will appreciate we cannot take any dog whose vaccinations are not up-to-date.
If it’s necessary to contact a veterinary surgeon to examine or treat your pet, any veterinary fees and any medication incurred are the responsibility of the client and must be paid for at the time of departure.
